The Hon Adam Hamilton Leader of the Opposition, travelled south from Wellington last night by the steamer express. Mr and Mrs A. R. King, of Corarnandle, are visitors to Masterton and are the guests ol Mr and Mrs R. J. King. Lansdowne The condition of Mr Warren Burling, of Masterton, who was the victim of a serious motor accident recently, is reported to be as good as can be expected under the circumstances. The Hon Mr Justice O’Regan, who has been on leave after an illness, is expected to resume his duties as judge of the Court of Arbitration when the court finishes its South Island sittings in about a fortnight’s time. The Rev Father H. J. Hayward, of St Columban's Missionary Society, was a paassenger by the Rangitane, which arrived at Auckland from London on Thursday. He is a nephew of the Hon W. Hayward, M.L.C., Christchurch, and will spend a vacation in the Dominion before joining the missionary stall' of his society in Korea.
