PRIME MINISTER
LEAVING HOSPITAL TODAY. WILL CONVALESCE AT HOME IN NORTHLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prime Minister; Mr Savage, will leave the Little Company of Mary (Lewisham) Hospital, Wellington , today, after having been a patient there for a little over three weeks. Mr Savage underwent a serious abdominal operation on August 4. and has since made remarkable progress toward recovery. He will return to his home at Northland today, and will convalesce there for a period. It is not yet known whether Mr Savage will resume any of his official duties before the end of the present session of Parliament, though this is not thought likely. The Governor-General visited Mr Savage at the hospital yesterday morning. The Minister of Labour. Mr Webb,, who has also been a patient in the' same hospital with eye trouble, left there yesterday. Mr Webb has, during the past week. visited Parliament Buildings on several occasions to transact important business.
