EKETAHUNA SALE. GOOD DEMAND FOR PIGS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Eketahuna yesterday a small yarding of dairy stock and pigs was submitted to the usual attendance. Pigs met with a ready sale at late rates whilst dairy stock sold readily. We quote:Unsound cows, £2 15s; dairy heiferfc (springing), £6, £6 5s to £6 7s 6d. Pigs: Weaners, small, 21s; slips, 235; light porkers, 365. » MARTINBOROUGH SALE. KEEN COMPETITION FOR HOGGETS. Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Martiborough sale yesterday: A medium yarding of sheep and cattle were offered at the Martinborough sale yesterday. Hoggets came forward in quite good order and were sold under keen competition. Prices were as follow: Ewte hoggets, 23/-. 20/3, 19/3 to 15/-; wether hoggets, 12/-.
