THREE POWER TALKS
NOT BEING- BROKEN OFF STATEMENT IN PARIS. PARTIAL MOBILISATION ANTICIPATED. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) PARIS, August 23. It is stated that the Three Power negotiations are not being broken off. but that the military conversations might, be suspended for a few days. M Daladicr met the chiefs of the armed forces. In a communique after an emergency meeting of the National Defence Council M Daladier announced that France was calling up a supplementary contingent of reservists to the colours in order to complete the measures already taken. It is understood that this is a prelude to partial mobilisation.
