COLLEGE OLD GIRLS
AN ENJOYABLE GATHERING. On Monday evening at the home of Miss Bebe Francis a gathering of members of the College Old Girls’ Association was held. There were thirtytwo Old Girls present, and a very enjoyable time was spent. Amongst the members are some very- clever performers. Those present listened, with delight, to pianoforte solos by' Miss Noeline McLaren and several songs by Misses Sylvia Dunbar and Joan Joyce. A clever dramatic dialogue was provided by Misses Mary McLaren and Nancy' Brown. The hostess provided a competition which was won by Miss Hazel Bell. A dainty supper was served.
The president, Miss Nina Boddington, thanked Miss Bebe Francis for having had the gathering at her home and also the girls who assisted with the supper.
The president congratulated Miss Elizabeth Thomas on having passed her elocution examination. It was decided that the secretary should again send a donation of £1 Is to the Leper Appeal Fund. The association has now -11 financial members.
The next gathering will bo held at the home of Misses Gwon and Mary I-’itlicr on September 11. 1
