TRAIN DELAYS
BLOCKAGE ON MAIN TRUNK DELIVERY OF MAILS AFFECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Slight delays in the arrival of trains on the Main Trunk are still expected today but by tomorrow normal running should be resumed. The express which left Auckland on Monday afternoon and whose passengers were transferred at Te Kuiti arrived empty at 2.14 this morning and yesterday’s three p.m. train was only eighteen minutes late in arrival at Wellington. The Limited was an hour and forty minutes late. Yesterday's north bound expresses from Wellington to Auckland arrived there this morning a little over an hour late. The mail that arrived here at 2.14 a.m. was delivered thish morning and mails that left Auckland yesterday will be delivered this afternoon.
