UPWARD TREND
MASTERTON STOCK SALE. The upward trend of prices at the previous sale was maintained at the Masterton stock sale today, when a good yarding of mixed sheep met with keen competition. There was a large attendance of buyers. Some realisations were: — Sheep: Fat hoggets, 19s 6d to 21s 9d; ewe hoggets, 28s 6d; s.m. ewes with lambs at foot, 10s 9d; 2-th. ewes. Us 3d; light fat ewes and wethers. 19s; fat wethers, 25s 3d; extra heavy, to 265; fat ewes. 18s lOd. Pigs: Wenners. 20s 6d to 255; slips. 255; porkers, £2 6s to £2 Ils.
