HELP THE TERRITORIALS
4, FORMING OF ASSOCIATION. MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT. A reminder is given of the meeting called in Masterton tomorrow night for the purpose of forming a Territorial Association, with a view to the community having the means to give its wholehearted assistance to local Territorial units. The meeting, which will be held in the A. and P. Rooms at 8 p.m., will be addressed by Captain B. Barrington, recruiting officer, Central Military District. The objects of the association include the encouragement of citizens to interest themselves and foster respect for members of the local Territorial force, to maintain the unit at full strength, to render practical help with social and recreational activities. to help Territorials to secure leave to attend camps and other military training and to maintain personal contact with Territorial units. There is every indication of a large attendance of the public at tomorrow night’s meeting.
