A record crowd on the Phimptoi course at Longlands, Hastings this at ternoon saw Dainty Footsteps win thi final of the Waterloo Cup. the Dornin ion's major coursing event. 801 l Dainty Footsteps and the runner-uj Desert Storm, are owned and trainee by Messrs Taylor and James. Master ton. The concluding results were:- — Waterloo Purse.—Semifinal: Lucky Gold 4, beat White Lie 0; Julius Caesar 4 boat Radiant Call 1. Final: Lucky Gold 1 beat Julius Caesar 0. Waterloo Plate.—Semifinal: Power Chief 1 beat Dawn o' Day 0; White Gold 2 beat Gay Peter 0. Final: Power Chief 31 beat White Gold 0. Waterloo Cup.—Semifinal: Desert Storm 5 beat White Peak 3; Dainty Footsteps 34 beat Mighty Fluke 3 Final: Dainty Footsteps 1 beat Doser' Storm 0. The Wairarapa Coursing Club's officials and members who were present at Hastings on Saturday spoke very highly of the hospitality' extended tc them. WAIRARAPA CLUB. The Wairarapa Coursing Club will be holding a meeting next Saturday. Prizewinners in the Waterloo Cup, Waterloo Plate and Waterloo Purse will be competing. Open and Maiden Slakes.
