UNDERSTANDING REACHED WITH MINISTERS. NO ARBITRARY INTERFERENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. After a discussion on Saturday morning between Cabinet Ministers and representatives of Taita market gardeners, it was stated that housing activities in the Hutt Valley are to bo arranged in such a way that there will be no arbitrary interference with the lands of the market gardeners. The meeting, which was also attended by Mr 11. E. Combs, M.P. for Wellington.. Suburbs, was held to discuss the situation that had arisen ip relation to the market gardening land involved in the Hutt Valley development scheme. An amicable spirit was reported to have prevailed.
