Amazing Coincidence.
A coincidence, which though interesting had unfortunate results, occurred on Saturday morning. A lady purchased a pair of green Roslyn blankets from a Queen Street store. Instructions were given to have the parcel left in the customer’s car which was described by its make and colour, and in which, it was said, there would be a small boy eating an ice cream. Such a car was duly found, of the make and colour described complete with small boy eating ice cream. Later it was found that the parcel had been delivered to the wrong car. Outside the store were two similar cars with a boy in each eating an ice cream. A lost advertisemenl in today’s issue tells the story of Hie amazing coincidence.
