Winnipeg.—The hunt by camera for wild life in Canada is increasing steadily in popularity and camera enthusiasts are to be found in the various game sanctuaries. National Parks and lake regions. Perhaps nowhere else in Canada is the camera huntsman more active than in the Lake of the Woods districts, immediately east of here on the Canadian Pacific Railway, where wild life is very plentiful. At times it is easy to obtain camera trophies of the bull and cow moose with calf, the buck and doe with fawn, bear and cubs, and the mother duck with her brood of downy puff balls. Beaver, mink, weasel, and porcupine are also often seen and shot with the camera, although their habits are more nocturnal.
