4 At Knox Church tomorrow morning and evening, the services will be taken by the Rev. John Davie, who will also preach at Matahiwi at 2 p.m. In the Methodist Church tomorrow, the morning service will be conducted by Mr. E. Steer, and at the evening service the Rev. F. J. Parker will preach on the subject. “A 'Salute from Far-off Days," a study in the early history of the Church. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow, the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker, and at 6.50 p.m. cars will leave for the town church. A service will be conducted tomorrow at Mt. Bruce by the Rev. F. .1. Parker, commencing, at 2.3 op.m. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Hildreth, from Wellington. The Major is the son of Major Hildreth, one of the Army’s veterans, who is still active in Christian work, and who, just on forty years ago. was the commanding officer of the Masterton Corps. Major Hildreth has imbibed much of the spirit of his father, and he will be heard in the expounding of the Gospel messages in each of the services during the day. All are heartily welcome to the services. Special prayers will be offered at all Church of England services tomorrow for refugees. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will be the preacher al St. Matthew’s Church in the morning, and the vicar in the evening. The usual services will be held at Kuripuni, Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The 48th anniversary of the Carterton Salvation Army will be celebrated tomorrow in the barracks at Carterion. and will be led by Major ,1. Nelson, of the Wellington Division. The morning service will be held at 11 o'clock, while at 3 p.m. the programme will be provided by the Kilbirnie Army Band. A great thanksgiving gathering will take place at 7 p.m. A birthday party will be held this evening. Rev. 11. E. Edridge will conduct the meeting of the Baptist Fellowship in the Y.M.C.A. Hall at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Mr Edridge is one of the best known of thi' Baptist Ministers, and is al present iti charge of extension work for me central auxiliary at Miramar. Al! tire cordially invited to hear him speak. Sunday School will be held at 9 4a a ni.
