TRIBAL WAR
ON ISLAND OF NEW BRITAIN FIFTEEN NATIVES KILLED. PATROL SENT TO RESTORE ORDER. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, August 17. The Administrator of New Guinea has informed the Federal Government that fifteen natives were killed this week in fighting which followed an inter-tribal raid on the island of New Britain. A patrol has been sent to restore order.
