POWER SUPPLY
MEETING OF THE WAIRARAPA BOARD. RETICULATION LOAN ALMOST RAISED. (“Times-Age" Special., “Debentures to the value of £23.000 have been disposed of in connection with the reticulation loan," said the Socf'etary-Manager of the Wairarapa Electric Power Beard (Mr G. Brown) at today's meeting. “It appears as if the board will have no difficulty in obtaining the full £25.000 authorised,” he added. Mr C. J. Holmes: “This is ampleproof that the people of the Wairarapa have every confidence in the board." In reply to a question, Mi' Brown informed members that with the exception of one transaction, all the debentures had been taken out in small lots by private individuals. Mr F. C. Daniell moved and Mr W. A. Tate seconded: •’That £2,500 be appropriated from the revenue this year Inwards the- cost of the erection and | reconstruction of new lines to serve the I Masterton district. j The motion was carried. j
