LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MASTERTON BRANCH ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Masterton League of Mothers is to be held in the St. Matthew's Parish Hall tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. An address will be delivered by Dr. Elizabeth Gunn and all interested are invited to attend. The annual report states that the branch, which was ' established ten years ago, now has a membership of 250, thirty-four new members having joined during the year. Activities have been well maintained. Nine meetings during the year, at which addresses, etc., were given, were all well attended. The League Choir, under the leadership of Mrs Miller Hope, continues to play a valuable part in the activities of the organisation. Concerts were given during the year at the Masterton Hospital and at the Buchanan Home, Greytown.
