COMING OF AGE PARTY

GATHERING IN ORANGE HALL. On Saturday evening at the Orange Hall Mr and Mrs T. Snowsill entertained about sixty friends at tea, held in honour of the coming of age of their daughter, Nancy. After an enjoyable tea Mr Snowsill proposed the toast to Nancy and presented her with a gold key. The toast was responded to with musical honours. Mr Geo. Daubney proposed the toast to Mr and Mrs Snowsill. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing and singing, the music being supplied by Mrs Snowsill, Miss Joy Grantham and Mr Trevor Hicks. Miss Snowsill was the recipient of many beautiful presents. The evening was brought to a close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.’’
