GOLF MATCH WIN FOR ALFREDTON. (“Times-Age" Special.) The Alfredton men’s golf team visited Pongaroa during the weekend and were successful in defeating the home team by 11 matches to 8. Playing at Tiraumea. Pongaroa were unsuccessful in their challenge against. Tiraumea for the Heckler Cup, the game ending in a scoreless draw. It is understood that a challenge has been lodged by Alfredton, who will meet Tiraumea next Saturday.

LADIES’ HOCKEY PONGAROA WIN CHAMPIONSHIP. The final match of the competition was played on Saturday, when Pongaroa won the championship, defeating Coast by 8 goals to 4. The sole selector. Mr Roy Scott, has announced the following team to meet Wairarapa, at Pongaroa next Saturday:
