WEEKEND GOLF BOGEY COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weekend golf competitions were decided amid pleasant conditions. On Saturday in the men’s bogey competition some good play was witnessed. The winners were E. Maddison and G. Te Whaiti. 4 up. Other scores were: B. Kiernan and Ray Ingley, 3 up; H. R. Feast and E. Williams, 2 up; T. Nelson and W. Everett, all square; A. Carter and S. C. Sheddon, 1 down. MINIATURE RIFLES WEEKLY CLUB COMPETITION. The following are the scores for the weekly miniature rifle shoot held in the Crown Theatre on Saturday evening:— A grade.—R. Morgan 79. 12. 91; K. Gates 93, 8, 99. HOCKEY BOY SCOUTS TEAM. The Greytown Boy Scouts continued their winning form on Saturday at the Memorial Park, by beating College B by 6 goals to 2. This team has been a very successful one this year, having won a five-a-side tournament earlier in the season. They now look like the winners of the B grade championship. Cake Stall. The Presbyterian Ladies' Guild held a cake stall in the Crown Theatre on Friday afternoon. The proceeds totalled over £5. There are still some donations to be collected. Personal. Miss Joyce Haigh, of Wellington, was a visitor to Greytown during the weekend. Mr D. Wallis, of Palmerston North, was in Greytown during the weekend. ■
