POSSIBLE RELATIONSHIP WITH AURORA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Saturday's brilliant Aurora Australis display may have had some connection with the solar activity which has been increasing during the last fortnight, and both yesterday and today the surface of the sun was well covered with spots. The Carter Observatory counted eight different seats-of activity this morning, the greater number being near the sun’s meridian.
