Daladier's refusal to permit the re-entry of Herr Otto Abetz Herr von Ribbentrop’s collaborator. who recently came to France on a special mission, the German Ambassador, Count von Wclczek. followed up a protest regarding the matter by visiting the War Ministry and then going to Berlin, presumably to consult his Government. Herr Abetz. wished to return in connection with a libel action against a French newspaper regarding his activities.
