The second New Zealand team secured an overwhelming victory over ,i Sydney team. The results were: — Men's singles: G. Pearce (New Zealand) beat J. Waugh (Sydney), 15-3, 15-5; Pearce beat R. Whelan (Sydney), 15-1, 15-0.

Women's singles: Miss M. Kerr (New Zealand) beat Miss Z. Campbell (Sydney), 11-0, 11-3; Miss Kerr beat Miss Gunton. 11-0. 11-3. Mixed doubles: Pearce and Miss Kerr beat Whelan and Miss Gunton, 15-3, 15-10.

Miss Gunton is New South Wales' woman champion, so the strength of Miss Kerr's play is apparent. Pearce was easily superior in both his games. After the match the New Zealanders showed the local players their weak points.
