LONDON QUOTATIONS LAMB MARKET EASIER. MUTTON PRICES STEADY. Lamb Market—With heavier arrivals tendency of market is easier, with second quality shade lower. Homekilled prices easing on the usual increasing supplies. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes steady with fair trade. Beef market: Frozen beef firm in sympathy with chilled. Chilled beef’ strong on the lighter supplies, with good trade. New Zealand porker pigs: Firmer. New Zealand baconer pigs: Nominal. Boneless bobby veal: Slightly easier owing to less demand. The above report was received yesterday by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of goods sold on Thursday. Chilled beef prices are averages of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market.
