LITTLE GIRL KILLED
CAR PLUNGES OVER BANK. TRAGEDY NEAR WAVERLEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI. August 11. A child, Noeline Grace Hoskins, aged 3J years, was killed tonight when a car driven by her father, Mr F. C. Hoskins, plunged over a bank on the main north road near Waverley. The mother, who was also in the car. was thrown clear, receiving minor injuries and cuts to the face. Mr Hoskins escaped injury. The child was pinned under the car, death being instantaneous. Mrs Hoskins was taken to Wanganui by the Free Ambulance and admitted to hospital. Mr and Mrs Hoskins live in Brunswick Road. Aramoho. Wanganui.
