DEATH OF SIR W. STRICKLAND

The death has occurred of Sir Walter Strickland. He left the income from an estate of £16,000 to promote Buddhism and authorised boxes containing his manuscripts to be removed from Prague to anywhere except the British Empire. Sir W. Strickland became a Czech citizen in 1923. He also financed the Sun Yat Sen revolt in China.
