ANNUAL SALE. Attention is drawn to- the annual sale of the Mahoe Friesian heifers and bulls at Turakina on Tuesday, August 15. This fixture has been an annual event for some years. The herd is now reaching a high standard and attention is directed to the long time records of m:iny of the cows. Mahoe Asperella produced 112,8041b5. of milk and 4,7041b5. of fat; followed by one daughter, Mahoe Mercena Lassie, with 77,8981b5. of milk and 3.5251b5. fat and another daughter la full sister), Mahoe Aquamarine, with 84,0591b5. of milk and 3,5751b5. of fat; whilst a granddaughter Mahoe Louise has already produced 3,2781b5. of fat in six lactations. The blood of this family is well distributed throughout the herd and those animals catalogued for the sale. This year, already, 14 records of over 4001bs. have been obtained in the herd. The cattle are looking particularly well and should come forward to the sale in wonderful order. Major Wilson welcomes inspection before the sale and would be pleased to supply information as to breeding and butterfat records to any inquiries. Mr Kalaugher, secretary of the Friesian Association, will be present at the sale. Catalogues and full information can be obtained .from the stud stock auctioneers, Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd.
