DANCE AT TE WHITI

KIA ORA CLUB FUNCTION. The dance held at Te Whiti last night in aid of the tournament funds of the Kia Ora Hockey Club was largely attended. The gathering proved a most enjoyable one. Mrs Te Tail’s Melody Makers provided the music and extras were played by Mi' Te Tau. Mr Lon Pike was an able M.C. The winners of the Te Whiti Cup were Miss Baird and Mr McHugh and of the lucky spot competition Mr R. Clarke and Miss Bolton. A. ladies’ committee attended to the supper arrangements. The Kia Ora Club member.-; very much appreciate the action of the president, Mr H. Henderson, in arranging the dance and also the great assistance given by the residents of Te Whiti.
