MAKING GOOD PROGRESS. MR WEBB ALSO MUCH BETTER, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prime Minister, Mr Savage, con-, tinues to make most satisfactory progress following the serious abdominal operation performed on him last Friday. The Lewisham Hospital authorities reported last evening that he had had a good day yesterday, and that he was bright and cheerful. Mi' Savage was visited yesterday by the Speaker of the Legislative Council, Mr .Fagan, who is an old friend and by Mrs French, who, with her husband, has resided with Mr Savage for many years. Both were impressed by his obvious progress toward recovery. The Minister of Labour, Mr Webb, who is also in the Lewisham Hospital with eye trouble, was reported lasi evening to be very much better.
