The “Daily Worker" (Communist) says that the Prime Minister, Mr Chamberlain, and the German Government. are secretly discussing a fivePower conference, excluding Russia, to consider ways and means of satisfying Herr Hitler's Danzig demands, and that a conference may bo held on August 20.
The paper adds that Lord Kemsley, chairman of Allied Newspaper,s who recently went to Berlin to arrange an interchange of news, is acting as intermediary between Herr Hitler and Mr Chamberlain.
