RABBITSKIN MARKET
SALE AT WELLINGTON. PRICES FULLY FIRM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The third rabbitskin sale of the season at Wellington was held yesterday by the combined brokers, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and Wright. Stephenson and C 0.,. Ltd. The market for all grades and descriptions can be quoted as fully firm and, in some cases in sellers’ favour as compared with the sale held last month. Brokers report a total clearance of catalogues, which included some good lines of winter skins. These sold at satisfactory prices, first bucks making up to 70d, first does 361 d, second bucks GOd, second does, 29Jd. The following is the range of prices:— Runners and small, to 8 : ;d; racks, 12d to 15jd; milky, to 91d; summers, to 10',d; dawny autumns, to 15d; late autumns, 22jd to 27d; incoming, 28!?d to 33Jd; broken, lid to 19d; f.s. and b.s., 12d to 2Gd; springs, 13d to 131 d. Black, Cd to 18Ad; early winters, 29d to 35d; outgoing, 18d to 28d; stained does, to 20d; spotted does, to 24d; spotted bucks, to 39d; second does, to 29id; second bucks to GOd; first does, to 3G).d; first bucks, to 70d; hares, to 7id; weevily, Cid to lid.
