Collier 6, 19, 25; Miss Nix IG, 9. 25; Mrs Thompson 12, IL 23; Mrs Maddison 14 9, 23; Mrs Ward 7 13. 20; Mrs Balfour 7. 13. 20. L.G.U. medals (third round): Silver Mrs Horner 83, 11, 72; Mrs Jury 93. 19 74; Miss E. Gregor 93. 18. 75; Miss Nix 94. 12, 82. Bronze: Mrs R. Ingley 99, 23, 76; Mrs G. Ingley 104. 25, 79; Miss R. Collier 108, 25 83; Mrs C. Ingley 112. 31, 81; Mrs Gregor 113, 26, 87. The final round 'of the bogey competition for the Eager Trophy was played on the local links on Saturday afternoon. Despite the overcast and showery weather the greens were in fairly good condition. The winner ci the competition was E. Maddison, he being seven down on the two rounds played. Further scores were:—H. W. Feast 9 down, T. G. R. Ingley 9 down, s C. Sheddon 11 down. In the Balfour Badges match on Saturday H. R. Feast and F. C. Bunny were unable to stave oft' defeat by the challengers B. Kiernan and Ray Ingley. The holders were defeated two and one. Ray Ingley did a good round of 85. ‘ , . On Sunday players took advantage of the fine weather and the links- were crowded. BIBLE CLASS VISIT TO WELLINGTON. The members of the Methodist Bible Class journeyed, to Wellington on Saturday to return the visit paid to them by the Worser Bay Club. At night the visitors wore entertained at a social, and a very enjoyable time was spent. TABLE TENNIS METHODIST CLUB TEAM. The C grade team to play the Winter Sports Club in the inter-club competition at Masterton will be as follows: Misses M. Keltic. N. Gray, N. Keltic and Mr M. Hobson. Personal Items. The friends of Mr H. G. Carter, who is confined to his bed, will be pleased to hear that he is making satisfactory progress towards recovery. Miss Betty Burden has returned home to Greytown after a holiday spent in Wellington and Pahautca.
