EXPLOSION ANO FIRE AT HOLLAND PARK AIR-RAID MASKS USED IN ENGLAND. ACTION AGAINST I.R.A. SUSPECTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, August 5. An explosion on the premises of the Miscellaneous Disposals Syndicate, a Government contracting firm at. A man was reported to have been seen earlier hastily motoring from the scene. Residents escaping from adjacent buildings effectively used their air-raid masks.
Firemen quenched the fire from the neighbouring root’s. Four more I.R.A. expulsion orders have been signed, bringing the total to 57. Eight suspected members of the Irish Republican Army against whom deportation orders had been signed have disappeared and are believed to be somewhere in England (states an Independent Cable Service message).
