ANNUAL SOCIAL.

SUCCESSFUL GATHERING

The Masterton Townswomen’s Guile, held its annual social last night in the Savage Club Room which was filled. The prog",mime consisted of voce.' solos by Miss O’Donnell, glees by th. Singing Circle, folk dancing, and competitions, the latter being won by Mesdames Dagg, Dallas and Wiltshire. A very amusing play called "Fetters" which kept the audience amused was produced by Mrs Hair, leader of the Drama Circle. This play was splendidly cast, those taking part being Mcsdames Downes. Douglas, Brown. Hill Diggle, Burke and Jones. Supper was served by the committee after which dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Mrs Coleman Mrs Snowsill and Mr Taylor.
