Indications that there is little likelihood of special permits being granted to racing and trotting club? to raise funds for local centennial celebrations was given today by Mr Parry, replying to a local deputation. “It seems a bit over the fence.’’ said Mr Parry. “It is up to the business community to make their contributions towards the celebrations."
