The New Zealand Minister of Finance, Mr W. Nash, before sailing for New York, stated that the loan arrangements will not enable New Zealand to surmount all her difficulties, but would permit her to continue her vital work. “It will enable us to solve our major problems, though it will take a couple of years to clear them up.” he commented.
