PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION

FUNDS IN HEALTHY CONDITION.

A meeting of the committee of the Central School Parents’ Association was held last night. Mi' G. Beecrof presiding. The treasurer (Mr Coddington) submitted the financial statement which showed that the funds of the Association wei'C in a very healthy condition chiefly on account of the success at tending the old time dances.

The ladies' committee wore empowered to purchase more crockery and other material as required. It was decided to continue t)ie dances until early in October, when a final lony night dance will be held. Mrs M. Nicol and Mrs W. Emerson were co-opted on to the ladies' committee. Various matters relating to the activities of the Association were discussed and finalised.
