After a clash between Rumanian and Hungarian frontier patrols. Rumania decided to break off trade negotiations with Hungary. A message from Budapest stales that after a six-hour shooting duel between frontier guards across the River Theiss, in which casualties were few. Rumania broke off negotiations for a river navigation treaty with Hungary.
