USED CAR SALE
RENEWED & GUARANTEED. AT FORD DEALERS DURING AUGUST. Something new in Used Car sales commenced yesterday throughout New Zealand. Seventy Ford dealers are cooperating in this national sale which will last for the whole of August and the familiar “R. & G” symbols will again be to the fore on the used car market. For August only, Ford, Dealers' “Renewed and Guaranteed” used cars will bo substantially reduced in price. But none of this year’s “R. and G” advantages will be missing because of that. “R. and G.” used cars will still be sold on the national plan backed by the Ford Motor Co. of N.Z., Ltd. All cars bearing the “R. and G.” sticker are checked, renewed where necessary and sold with a written guarantee. And the 5-day exchange privilege still holds. Should the car purchased not meet with the purchaser’s requirements, it can be exchanged within 5 days from the date of the original purchase. Then, too, every “R. and G.” car is sold with a free 2,000 miles lubrication service and a 50/50 warranty. The Ford dealer will meet within a reasonable time half the cost of repairs, etc., due to the car’s condition when sold.
Just as in past years, the “R. & G.” plan is real protection for used car buyers and it is available only at authorised Ford dealers. The special "R. and G.” sale during August is taking place at Messrs Fagan Motors, Ltd., Masterton, and Messrs Gordon Hughan, Ltd., Carterton.*
