CENTENNIAL PROJECTS
MEETING OF WAIRARAPA ZONE NEXT WEEK. ' CELEBRATIONS AND MEMORIALS. The allocation of elates to each centre in the Wairarapa holding local centennial celebrations and consideration of local centennial memorial proposals are among the matters to be discussed at a meeting of the Wairarapa District Zone Committee to be held in the Council Chambers. Masterton, on Wednesday, August 8. It is desired to avoid any clashing in the dates of local celebrations, so that residents of the districts will be free to attend any gatherings held in various parts of the Wairarapa. Proposals for local centennial memorials will be considered by the Wairarapa Committee prior to submission to the Provincial Centennial Council for approval.
