WAIRARAPA EXECUTIVE DISCUSSION. PROJECT NOT FAVOURED. The question of the formation of a farmers’ political party was discussed at length in committee at yesterday’s meeting of the Wairafapa Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union. The Provincial President (Mr Hugh Morrison) stated subsequently that, having given the question extended and careful consideration, the executive had decided unanimously that in existing circumstances it was not in favour of the formation of a farmers’ political party.
