WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MEETING AT MT. BRUCE.
(“Times-AEe” Special.)
In spite of the wretched weather the attendance at the July meeting of the Mt. Bruce Women’s Institute was very good. Owing to the state of the roads members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were unable to be present. A pleasant afternoon was spent with competitions and afternoon tea was provided.
The competitions resulted asUollows: ■—Chocolate cake: Mrs C. J. Campbell, 1; Mrs R. C. Campbell. 2. Blooms: Mrs D. McLachlan (rose). 1; Mrs R. C. Campbell (ranuncula), 2. The next meeting will be held at Mrs D. McLachlan’s, when a demonstration on home nursing will be given by two members of the St. John Ambulance.
