NOT BEING RESUMED NEXT MONTH.

STATEMENT BY MR GATTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. July 28. Mr H. Gatty, representative of PanAmerican Airways, stated that the message from San Francisco that the company intended to resume its Pacific service on August 15 was premature. He had been officially advised that it did not come from the company. Not till a licence for the service had been issued by the United States Government would the company be in a position to make a statement.
