The following were the best scores in the miniature rifle competitions held last night:—Miss Broughton, score 67. handicap 5, total 70; C. Pickering, 69. 2 70; Mrs Wilson, 68, 3. 70; E. Findlay. 68, 3, 70: Mrs Davidson. 67. 4. 70; MistSmith. 67. 7. 70: W. George, 67, 5, 70: F. Brassoil, 66. 6. 70; S. Harvey. 66. 3 69; Mrs Dempsey. 65. 3. 68: V. Amos. 65, 5. 70: W. Bain. 65. 5. 70: R. Lord. 65. 5. 70; Mrs Boyd. 67. 4. 70. Weekly button was won by Miss Prussing with a score of 77. Personal Items. Mrs Lewin is the guest of her daughter Mrs J. Harris, Dyerville, she will later leave to take up her residence in Wellington. Mrs Lewin had been a resident of Masterton for several years. Mr Chadwick, of North Auckland, is a visitor to Martinborough.
