SHOOTING ACCIDENT

BAKER SERIOUSLY INJURED. OPERATED ON AT GREYTOWN HOSPITAL. (“Times-Age” Special.) Yesterday a married man, Eric Fleet, a baker, employed by Mr C. W. Brown, of Greytown, accidentally shot himself in the left arm. Mi;, Fleet was near Woodside collecting wood. He also had a gun which he used for rabbit shooting. Mr Fleet managed to get to the house of Mr Dickens on the Woodside Road, being in a state of collapse due to the loss of blood. The ambulance was called and Mr Fleet was admitted to the Greytown Hospital in a serious condition, and an operation was performed. A report from the Greytown Hospital this morning was to the effect that Mr Fleet had had a fair night and that his condemn was' fairly satisfactory.
