WEDDING
HARRIS—McFADZEAN. St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wellington, on Saturday afternoon, Ina, only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs McFadzean, of Featherston, was married to Clifford, elder son of Mrs Harris, Waipukurau, and the late Mr Harris. The Rev A. B. Kilroy, was the officiating minister. The bride, who was escorted by Mr V. Robinson, of Carterton, wore a dress of white georgette embossed with silver, cut on classical lines, and forming a train. She wore a coronet of orange blossom and a long tulle veil forming a second train, and carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids • were Miss Jean Donald, Featherston, and Miss Betty Sutton, Wellington. They wore blue georgette with rucked bodices, blue and silver flowers in their hair, and carried bouquets of pink carnations, sweet peas and heather. The best man was Mr A. H. Hurst, and the groomsman Mr Brian Overton. A reception was afterwards held al the Majestic Cabaret, where Mr and Mrs Ambrose, uncle and aunt of the bride, received the guests. Mrs Ambrose was wearing a frock .of cyclamen velvet, fur cape, and carried a spray of flowers to tone. Mr and Mrs Harris will reside at Lower Hutt.
