BOWLING CLUB I ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting cf the Martinborough Bowling Club was held in the pavilion. The president (Mr A. Pike) presided over a fair attendance of members. Two resignations were received, and six new members were elected. On the motion of the chairman it was decided to increase the bowling subscription to £3, and the ladies’ croquet subscription to 255. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:- —Patron. Mr W. J. Martin; nresident. Mr A. Pike; vicepresidents. Messrs W. J. Knell (senior) and A. George (junior); committee. Messrs A. Caseley. T. Smith. S. Boyd. W. J. McNally. J. Larsen. J. Jolly. J. Lamb. G. Cuthbert. J. Jenkins; green superintendent, Mr J. Lamb; secretary and treasurer. Mr G. E. Williamson; selector, Mr C. Skill; auditor. Mr J. Jolly; delegates to Wairarapa Bowling Centre, Messrs Pike. Knell and Williamson; match committee. Messrs T. Smith. W. J. McNally. W. Knell. It was reported that the prospects for the season were very bright and; members were keenly looking forward to the opening day. MINIATURE RIFLES INTER-CLUB CONTEST. The following were the scores in Ihe matches fired between the Martinborough and Featherston Miniature Rifle Clubs A and B teams:—
