At the wool sales 7,580 bales were offered, including 3,749 from New Zealand, 6.377 being sold. There was a good selection of crossbreds, but a poor selection of Merinos, which were mostly reofferings and were frequently WithdrawnRealisations: New Zealand slipe crossbred combing lambs, Feildihg (lowest and highest prices), 9d and 14£d; scoured halfbred fleece, Waiua, 14Jd and 17Jd; scoured crossbred. N.Z.. W.M.A.., 13d and 16d.
