ANNUAL MEETING
(“Times-Age” Special.)
The annual meeting of the South Wairarapa Working Men's Club, held at Greytown last night, Mr R. Gallon was re elected president and Mr W. Grigg vice-president. The new members elected to the committee were Messrs J. E. Raison, N. McLeod A. Playle and G. Burns. FIRE BRIGADE WELCOME TO EX-CAPTAIN & BRIDE. The members of the Grey town Fire Brigade turned out in full force last evening to give a welcome to their old leader, ex-Captain Gates, and his bride who were received under an arch of water played from two leads of hose. MINIATURE RIFLES TEAM TO MEET CARTERTON. The following is the Greytown Miniature Rifle team to fire a match against Carterton at Greytown on Wednesday night, commencing at 7.45 o’clock: —Miss C. Gray, Miss L. Gray, Miss A. Gray, Miss D. Roband, G. Rhodes, W. Fuge, H. Gray, R. Ingley, J. Yeomans, Miss J. Morgan, Miss G. Gray, Miss B. Bennett, R. Gray, G. Gray, H. Bockett, ■ R. Hood. R. Te Whaiti. Personal. After an absence of ten months Mr and Mi’s W. Gates are on a visit to Greytown and are the guests of Mrs N. McLeod.
