AFTER CHURCH CONCERT
EXCELLENT PROGRAMME.
St Patrick’s Hall. Queen Street, was crowded last evening when a most enjoyable after church concert was presented. All the items were excellently rendered and the performers had to respond to encores. ' The following was the programme: — 5.0.5., Songsters of the South; recitation, Valma Hirst; Irish reel, Misses K. and C. Burke and P. Saunders; vocal solo, Miss Beulah Hirst; recitation* Miss Joan Grantham; sailor’s hornpipe. Miss P. Saunders and Master Jack Ryan; vocal solo, Mr C. Clement; humorous song, Mr Harry Hall; Irish hornpipe, Misses K. & C. Burke; recitation, Miss K. Cairns; song and tap dance. Miss Beulah Hirst; steel guitar. Miss O. Curry; vocal solo, Mr Wm. Mann; recitation, Maureen Cairns; Scotch reel, Misses K. and C. Burke, Y. Saunders and Jack Ryan; playette, "The Servant Problem”: The Mistress. Miss M. Greenlees; the Maid, Miss K. Cairns; the Caller, Miss M. Doyle.
