PALM ERSTON-BULLS RACE.
WIN FOR WELLINGTON RIDER

PALMERSTON N., July 22.
The Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club’s annual road cycling race from Palmerston North to Bulls and back, a distance of about 38 miles, was decided to day, and resulted in a win for S. Webber (Wellington). Forty-nine riders, from Palmerston North, Wellington, Feilding, Dannevirke, Levin, Woodville, Stratford, Wanganui, Masterton and Foxton, faced the starter.
The first to turn for home at Bulls Were Webber, E. Lucinsky (Foxton), G. Allen (Feilding), and L. Gestro (Wanganui). Riding well on the homeward trip, Webber went on to win a good race from Allen, with G. Harrison (Wanganui) third and A. Fish (Palmerston North) fourth. The scratch men took fastest time honours, Dutton winning by a length from D. McNab (Palmerston North), and R. Loader (Palmerston North) close up third. Results: — S.
